MARCH TO HELL: SENGOKU LIGHT ASHIGARU FARMER WEAPONS 01 – 15mm & 28mm STL Miniatures

🏹 Light Ashigaru Farmer Weapons STL Overview

Light Ashigaru Farmer Weapons STL miniatures from MARCH TO HELL: SENGOKU recreate the humble origins of many ashigaru warriors during Japan’s Age of Warring States. Available in both 15mm and 28mm scale, these highly detailed STL miniatures depict lightly equipped infantry carrying improvised farmer weapons and agricultural tools converted for battle, making them ideal for representing early militia forces and peasant levies.

Part of the Feudal Japan STL Miniatures Collection, these miniatures complement samurai, yari ashigaru, yumi archers and teppo units, allowing players to recreate the earliest stages of Sengoku armies or build immersive narrative campaigns based on local uprisings and village defence.

⚔️ Historical Context

Many of the first ashigaru were recruited from farming communities with little formal military equipment. Before receiving standardized weapons and armour, they often fought using modified agricultural tools, wooden poles, sickles and other implements that could be adapted for combat during the Sengoku period.

As warfare became increasingly organized, these peasant soldiers evolved into disciplined professional infantry. This collection represents the transitional period when ordinary villagers answered the call to arms, highlighting the origins of the ashigaru who would later become the backbone of Japan’s feudal armies.
