🏹 Overview

The Byzantines Levies Slings 01 set features STL miniatures in 15mm and 28mm scale
representing light Byzantine troops armed with slings.
These models are ideal for use as skirmishers or militia in your Dark Ages Byzantine forces,
providing ranged harassment and battlefield support.

⚔️ Historical Context

The Byzantine army
relied on a wide range of troop types to achieve tactical flexibility.
Slingers — often drawn from rural populations or allied provinces — were used to disrupt enemy formations
and weaken advancing troops before close combat.
Simple but deadly, the sling remained a valuable weapon across Byzantine campaigns from the Balkans to the Middle East.
